Mr. Mike Rastegar

Mr. Rastegar was appointed by the City of Fresno to the District's Board of Directors. He has worked for Caltrans since 1984 in construction, project development, traffic engineering, and project management. He is currently Deputy Director for Project Management for District 6, which encompasses Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare and Kern counties.

Mr. Rastegar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from California State University, Fresno and is a Registered Civil Engineer. His professional involvement includes past service as President of Professional Engineers in California Government. He is also current President of the Islamic Cultural Center of Fresno and until recently farmed Thompson seedless grapes on 27 acres in Kerman.
