Mr. Burleson is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer with a BS degree from the University of Houston and an MBA from California State University, Fresno including international studies at the University of EFCE Paris, France.  Mr. Burleson retired from ATT in 2010 after serving in several positions over his 33-year career, including 10+ years as the General Manager in Central California.  Mr. Burleson has been an active member of the Upper Kings Basin Integrated Regional Water Management Authority serving as a Director from 2012-2016, and Chairperson from 2017-2018.  He is currently serving in the capacity of advisor on two non-profit boards, including previous service from 2006-2008 as Chairman of the Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County.

Mr. Burleson is actively exploring new water technology to provide future water solutions for California farmers and previously served on the Upper Kings Basin Integrated Regional Water Management Authority Advisory Sub-Committee to update the Kings Basin Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWMP) for 2015 and beyond.  In addition, Mr. Burleson is the owner of BNB Farms in east Texas where he currently farms pine trees with a unique Silvopasturing technique that allows livestock and trees to co-exist in harmony.
