NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE FRESNO METROPOLITAN FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
Regarding Amendment of the Use of District Facilities for Parks and Recreations Purposes Ordinance and the Master Schedule of Service Charges Ordinance
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Directors of the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room located at 5469 E. Olive Avenue, Fresno, California, 93727 to consider amending Ordinance 2014-3 Chapter 5, Use of District Facilities for Parks and Recreation Purposes and Ordinance 2014-4, Chapter 2, Master Schedule of Service Charges to impose new reservation fees for the use of park pavilions within District parks.
Pursuant to such hearing and pursuant to the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control Act, said Board of Directors intends to amend the Ordinances, including the District’s Schedule of Service Charges within the Master Fee Ordinance. It is further recommended that the proposed Schedule of Service Charges take effect on July 1, 2016.
- View data indicating the amount of the fee or service charge, along with supporting documents, showing (i) the reasonableness and methodology for calculation of the fee, and (ii) that estimated revenue resulting from the fee or service charge will not exceed the amount required to provide the service.
Any interested person may appear and address the Board of Directors orally or in writing at the above noted time and date related to amendment of the Ordinances for the proposed service charges.
