Basin S Park, Ashlan and Minnewawa

Clovis Mayor Nathan Magsig and four members of the District Board of Directors join in the ribbon cutting to officially open a brand new basin park at Ashlan and Minnewawa.

The City of Clovis secured the funding needed to finish the first phase of construction of this beautiful 2.5-acre park built adjacent to a 20-acre Flood Control ponding basin.

Funds were received from the State of California, the Clovis Community Foundation, The Fresno Chapter of the Audubon Society, Wathen-Castanos, the City of Clovis, and the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District.
