Become a Partner for Clean Storm Water

You can contribute to clean water and a clean community by joining local businesses, organizations, and public agencies as a Partner for Clean Storm Water. By adopting a few simple pollution prevention practices, you will help preserve our water resources.

Easy and Effective Pollution Prevention

The practices required of participating businesses are simple, inexpensive and effective at reducing storm water pollution:

• Keep outdoor areas clean
• Prevent and clean up spills
• Store materials properly
• Eliminate improper discharges to storm drains
• Label storm drains "No Dumping"
• Train employees to prevent storm water pollution

Partnership has its Privileges

When you become a Partner, the District will:

• Advertise your participation annually in local newspapers
• Provide free customer recognition materials
• Supply free employee training materials
• Sponsor Business of the Year Awards
• Provide free storm water pollution prevention consultation
